I know some people can’t even find regular cold and flu medicine to treat non-coronavirus related illnesses and or disinfectants to keep their loved ones well because other folks have decided to empty out store shelves and stockpile on resources others need. Even clinics, hospitals, senior care facilities and other healthcare providers can’t get the resources they need because others have decided to hoard.
Sadly, the people who are panicking and buying out and stockpiling soaps, disinfectants, hand sanitizers, masks and over-the-counter medications are depriving others of these health and hygiene products, and in so doing, tragically and ironically helping spread the coronavirus (COVID-19, its impact and its effects.
If you’re a healthy and low-risk individual with no other at-risk people you care for, and you are one of the hoarders and stockpilers, please consider donate SOME of those resources to your local senior care facilities, homeless shelthers etc. They need it more than you, and that’s a fact.
